Dr Bev Edlin DBA, CMInstD
With a strong background in marketing and management at senior level Bev is one of only a few New Zealanders to complete a doctorate in governance. Her doctoral thesis has practical application to the working of boards, no matter size, revenue or employee numbers.
As a Tauranga City Councillor and an RMA Commissioner she chairs the Strategy and Policy Committee.
In recent years she has been involved in establishing and assessing a number of not-for-profits, working with maori-based trusts and boards, has chaired a number of boards and has served as a trustee on others. She also facilitates Massey University’s MBA governance module, works with owners and managers to build long-term sustainable organisations in additional to delivering a range professional development workshops for boards and senior management.
With three generations of her family working, living and playing in Tauranga she is passionate about this city and driven to work to build a strong sustainable environment that will enhance the lives of us all, build strong commercial and agricultural entities while providing the social services delivering quality outcomes.
