If your event is happening on a street or road you are legally required to have a traffic management plan.
We encourage you to contact our Event Facilitation team in the first instance to discuss the event’s feasibility and to offer advice and guidance on the next steps to take. All traffic management plans for events must be provided by a registered traffic management company and submitted to Councils Temporary Traffic Management team for review.
If your event requires a road closure it must be publically notified. Therefore your application must be submitted at least eight weeks prior to the event taking place.
