Proposal: Jace Investments Ltd is seeking resource consent to construct a new five storey building (plus basement). The building will be a maximum 16.5m in height and proposed to comprise of a basement; ground floor comprising of living and dining facilities, lobby area; two levels of accommodation for Recognised Seasonal Employees (RSE) in addition to budget hotel/backpackers’ style of accommodation during the off season and; two levels of residential independent dwelling apartments.

The proposed residential accommodation is associated with Mount Pack and Cool (Mpac) located within the Tauriko Industrial Business Park also owned by the applicant. The apartments are also proposed to be occupied by employees of MPAC.
