Durham Street project update - Friday, 28 September 2018

We have begun work on Durham Lane and sent notifications about a water shut down on Sunday night.

Excavation has started on Durham Lane, and we have had an archaeological expert on site in case any items of interest are found. Work will start on a new retaining wall next week close to the Bongard Centre.

Elizabeth Street roundabout 

The Elizabeth Street roundabout at the end of Durham Street has been reinstated and orange fencing will be removed by Monday.

The water main upgrade and utility service replacement continues along Durham Street, and is currently out the front of new University of Waikato Campus.

Spring Street and Durham Street intersection 

Excavation will begin next week on the intersection for laying of new pavement.

Water shut down on Sunday night

This Sunday night we have contractors helping to create a new water main connection. This means that some properties will be affected by a water shut, all affected parties have been notified directly. Here is the information:
