Building consents and resource consents
The Building Services and Environmental Services teams’ statutory close down period is Thursday 20 December 2018 to Thursday 10 January 2019 inclusive. The statutory clock will stop on building consent and resource consent processing. This period will therefore not count toward the 20 working day processing time.
LIM reports and property files
The LIM office will be closed between Tuesday 25 December 2018 and Tuesday 15 January 2019 included. These are statutory non-working days for the purpose of LIM processing under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act.
If you need a LIM report before the holidays, put in your application by:
- Monday 10 December for a 10-day residential or commercial LIM
- Wednesday 19 December for a 3-day residential LIM
Processing of LIM applications received after Monday 24 December 2018 will start from Wednesday 16 January 2019.
This does not impact requests for property files, which will continue to be delivered throughout the holiday period excluding statutory holidays.
