Consultation on draft dangerous buildings policy closes Thursday

You have until Thursday 10 October to have your say on Tauranga City Council’s draft Dangerous and Insanitary Buildings Policy.

Most of the proposed changes are to reflect amendments to the Building Act.

Information on the draft changes is available at www.tauranga.govt.nz/dib-policy along with the full draft bylaw, an online submission form, and – for those less interested in policy changes – information on what to do if you have concerns about a building and what council can do about it. Paper copies are also available at the customer service centre at 91 Willow Street and in libraries.

Have your say by 5pm on Thursday 10 October.
