Cameron Road, near Harvey Norman, will be reduced to one-way at night from Tuesday 8 August for resurfacing work as part of the Building our future – Cameron Road, Te Papa project.
The northbound lanes of Cameron Road will be closed from 6pm-6am from 6pm Tuesday 8 August – 6am Friday 11 August, including the Fourteenth Avenue intersection.
This section of Cameron Road, and the Fourteenth Avenue intersection, will be open for use during the day but reduced to one lane.
Northbound traffic will be diverted down Fifteenth Avenue, along Devonport Road to Thirteenth Avenue.
The same closure will be in place for line marking work from 6pm Sunday 13 August to 6am Monday 14 August, with the same diversion in place.
Local residents will still have vehicle access. Pedestrian and cyclist access, and access to businesses in the area will be maintained at all times; please follow the directional signage.
Buses will also follow the detours and bus stops within the closure area will be marked as closed.
The resurfacing and line marking work is weather dependent and if not completed between Tuesday 8 August and Monday 14 August, work will take place between Tuesday 15 August and Monday 21 August, with the same detours in place.
Tauranga City Council and the Cameron Road Joint Venture thank you for your patience and understanding while we carry out this essential work.
