Annual water mains flushing

Event date: 21/08/2023 9:00 a.m. - 4/09/2023 5:00 p.m. Export event

Downer is the contractor to the Tauranga City Council for the maintenance of the Water, Stormwater and Wastewater systems.

From Monday 21st August 2023, for a period of 2 weeks, Downer will be undertaking the Annual Water Mains Scouring Program (flushing) in the following areas:
Mount Maunganui, Arataki, Matapihi,  Bayfair areas including all side roads. Papamoa, Papamoa east and all side roads

This scouring/flushing may cause a temporary discoloration of your water.  If you find any discolouration at your home/business, please run an outside tap for 5-10 minutes until the water clears.
