Arataki update

As most of us are now getting back into the swing of things, we’d like to give you a brief update on what has happened over the last couple of months in Arataki.


 

In this latest edition of our Moving forward in Arataki newsletter, we are pleased to introduce the new Arataki Community Liaison Group members as well as cover other high interest topics.

Tauranga City Council is looking to set up a community and stakeholder group which will include local representatives, organisations involved in transport planning and council departments whose work affects the Arataki community.

We hope that everyone is settling into some sense of normality after the last few months. Council is in the process of making some significant progress on issues related to the Arataki community as per below.

Our contractors are preparing to shift to alert level 3, we're considering alternative ways to continue community consultation, and we'd love to hear your thoughts about the works done at the Links Avenue/Concord Avenue/Farm Street intersections earlier in the year.

Thank you to everyone for your patience during the Links Avenue/Concord Avenue/Farm Street intersections works. The site re-opened yesterday, with some minor works still underway to complete the project.

To complete the works on the upgrade of the Concord Avenue/Farm Street/Links Avenue Intersection, we are introducing 24/7 road closures and extending working hours.
