Durham Street 

• Our water main upgrade on the west side is now connected.  
• We have installed two new garden pits this week. 
• We will be working nights through till Christmas to install new stormwater pipes that are required to address a conflict between the stormwater and water mains. Traffic management will be in place, and we may need to restrict access from time to time during the night. 
• Our preparation for concrete pavement continues on Durham Street next week. 
• We are continuing to adjust our programme alongside Hawkins who are developing of the University Campus to ensure that the university opens on time for 2019 students. 

Durham Lane

• We are connecting the new stormwater pipes to the existing system near the Bongard Centre over the weekend. This will mean through access from Cameron Road to Durham Street will not be available during this time. 
• Pavement works will start next week at the south end. 
• The second stage of the wall at the south end is now in place. 
• Reinstatement will be underway next week. 

 Spring Street and Durham Street Intersection 

• We have completed 4 sections of the concrete pavement and plans are looking good to have the half section of the intersection complete by Christmas. We will still need to leave it to cure for a while before we can put traffic on it, but things are progressing very well.
