We would like to notify potential suppliers of an upcoming tender for traffic signals maintenance and renewals for assets owned by Tauranga District Council, Rotorua Lakes Council and Taupo District Council and Waka Kotahi.

We are looking for a:

Mandatory requirements
SHE, ISO 9000, and Totika Qualified, Local Presence, Minimum of 3 experienced Staff.
The contract requires suppliers to have a depot based within 15 km of the Tauranga City boundaries.
The tender is expected to be advertised in January 2025.
The contract period will be for 3 years with an option for a further extension of 2 years subject to satisfactory performance.
New suppliers to the region will need to provide a plan for how they would establish themselves within a 3-month mobilisation period.
The plan will detail how they would secure a suitable depot site and the resources needed to deliver this contract.
We strongly encourage all interested parties to keep a close watch on GETS in January 2025, where the tender will be advertised.

Indicative timeframes:
Request for Proposal anticipated to be released early January 2025
Project Commencement: July 1, 2025
Project Completion: June 30, 2028, with an option to extend for 2 years based on performance.
