The purpose of Infrastructure Development Code (IDC) is to provide technical and process information to ensure that landforms and infrastructure developed in Tauranga achieve appropriate outcomes, whilst considering all co-stakeholders and the community’s needs.
The IDC is intended to be an adaptable document to cater for the ever-changing environment it is used within. All IDC users are encouraged to:
- Sign up to the IDC Register to receive IDC related information
- Refer to the Table of Amendments to stay up to date with IDC changes
- Contact Council if any errors are found or to share new ideas
