This upcoming project will consist of the construction of approximately 3848m of 250 (DN315 PE100) watermain and associated fittings within the road reserve extending previous pipe installation from Panorama Drive to Waitaha Rd South. The works will be undertaken by directional drilling method.
Additional scope includes a connection to Kaitemako Rd reservoir, and a PRV on Blackberry Way. Construction will be as per the contract specification, largely based on the TCC IDC.
The main will need to be completed to a high quality standard as this is a key strategic transfer watermain.
Tauranga City Council intend to release the RFT for the works in mid-august on www.tenderlink.com/tauranga with commencement of works in September/October.
