General Distributions Limited (GDL), a duly incorporated company, has made application to the Tauranga District Licensing Agency for the variation of an Off Licence in respect of the premises situated at 44 Bureta Road, Tauranga and known as Woolworths Bureta Park.
The general nature of the business conducted under the licence is that of a supermarket.
The days on which and the hours during which liquor is currently being sold under the licence are:
Monday to Sunday from 7:00am to 10:00pm for consumption off the premises
Excluding Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Christmas Day and up until 1pm on Anzac Day.
Condition 5 of the off-licence for Woolworths Papamoa presently states:
A properly appointed Certificated, or Acting or Temporary, Manager must be on duty, at or nearby the point of sale, at all times when the premises are open for the sale and supply of alcohol.
GDL seeks vary Condition 5 to be as follows:
