Tauranga Airport parking fees will be changing from 1 December 2018.
“We will need to increase the amount of parking we have available at the airport to accommodate for the growth in passenger volumes. To fund this we are changing the daily rate for short and long-term car parking, says Ray Dumble, Airport Manager.
“Airport user fees fund airport services and improvements. The increased daily parking rates will fund future car park extensions and maintenance.
The short-term daily fee will increase from $10 to $15 with a maximum fee of $90 for seven days.
Daily fees for long-term parking will increase from $10 to $14 with a maximum fee of $55 for one week.
The lost ticket fee for all parking will be $90 up from $50.
The new Tauranga Airport parking fees are now similar to Rotorua ($50 long-stay) and less than most domestic airports around NZ e.g. Queenstown ($60 for weekly long-term) and Hamilton ($65 for weekly long-term).
