Two sections of Chadwick Road in Greerton will be closed overnight on Wednesday 10 August and Thursday 11 August for road resurfacing.

Diversions will be in place from 6pm to 6am on both nights from Greerton Road to Mansels Road and Mansels Road to Fraser Street.

Residents will still have access, however it is recommended that people driving in the area allow additional time for their journey to account for the detour and for traffic management to guide them through the sites.

Some noise nuisance and vibration from heavy machinery may be experienced and people should avoid parking on this section of Chadwick Road during the surfacing work period.

The works are weather dependent and if weather is not favourable, the road resurfacing will roll over to the next available evening.

Fulton Hogan Ltd has been contracted by Tauranga City Council to carry out surfacing in this area. This work is part of Council’s annual roading programme, improving road safety and investing in our roading assets.
