A water shutdown is in place on Waimapu Pa Road as contractors work to repair a water main.

Water has been off since midday. Contractors are working hard to get the water back on as soon as they can, and expect to have the problem fixed around 8pm.

There are approximately 22 properties affected by this shutdown.

A water cart will be available at Waimapu Pa Marae from 7:00pm for those needing water. Please take your own containers to fill on-site.

Alternatively, bottled water can be supplied to people on Waimapu Pa Road. Please call our contact centre who can arrange this. Thank you for your patience.
