Welcome to our first e-news about transport improvements along Ngatai Road. We will be sending this e-news out regularly to anyone who is keen to find out more about what’s happening transport-wise around the Ngatai Road area. 

We are making good progress with the preparations for the project ‘Improved connections on Ngatai Road’ and look forward to appointing the contractor by the end of the year. 

Happy New Year. We are looking forward to starting the works on Ngatai Road.

We are happy to be starting construction work this week. Works will commence with the improvement of the crossing at the Matua Saltmarsh entrance.

We’ve started building the shared pedestrian and cycle crossing opposite the Matua Saltmarsh. The new crossing will make it easier for students to get to school. We aim to complete this work by the end of February.
