Promoting your event banner

Maximise your event’s visibility through local advertising channels.

We offer several options to support your event promotion, including the ‘What's On Tauranga’ digital platforms and outdoor advertising locations.

What's On Tauranga website

The What’s On Tauranga website is available for event organisers to promote their events at no cost. The website is managed by Tauranga City Council.

Events listed on the site may receive further exposure through the What’s On Tauranga social media platforms (Facebook and Instagram), email or marketing campaigns.

If the community could benefit from knowing about your event, you can apply to advertise your event in public roadside sign locations. With 19 Locations around Tauranga with daily traffic views ranging from 6,000 to 64,000.

There are 3 different locations across city: Durham Street, Elizabeth Street, Jean Batten Drive (Airport)

To be booked and approved through Event Development Team at Council, install and removal costs involved.
