Following the nation being moved to COVID-19 Alert Level 3, Tauranga City Council is working to restore the city’s parks and reserves.

Tauranga City Council is looking to recruit qualified building inspectors to help deal with a backlog of building inspections and share the heavy workload created by the city’s always-busy construction sector.

Just as many of us are thrilled to get our first takeaway in five weeks, some people are just as excited to visit the transfer station with their rubbish, recyclables and garden waste, after a great lockdown clean up.

The Turret Road slip lane is permanently closed from today. 

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement, the nation will move to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 at 11.59pm on Monday 27 April 2020.
