Shorter shower kit

We can help your business save water and cut spending on water and power bills with our shorter shower kit.

Every extra minute spent in the shower uses 12 litres of water (based on average low flow showerhead). The cost of this extra minute soon adds up when you consider the cost of power and the number of showers taken each day. Four minutes is the recommended water-wise shower time.

Shorter shower kits include:

  • removable (non-marking) sticker
  • four-minute shower timer
  • shower neck tag

Please note the shower timer is made up of glass, plastic and sand. The timer is not to be used as a toy in the bathroom or for any other purpose other than as a shower timer. Tauranga City Council takes no responsibility for the any damage or injury as a result of the shower timer.
