Water efficiency

Waterline offers a free home visit service, to help you save water and money by making your home more water efficient.

Our Waterline Advisors can check for leaks, teach you how to fix a leaking tap, show you how to read your water meter and give you suggestions on how to conserve water. They will also give advice on other water-related matters such as your gully traps. 

To take advantage of this free service, book a visit from a Waterline Advisor below or by calling us on 07 577 7000. Our Waterline Advisors are available Tuesday to Thursday from 7am-5pm.

How to change a tap washer

Check out a short video on how to replace a washer in your tap if it leaks. Please note that you cannot replace washers in some taps. Lever and ceramic taps will need a plumber to fix. Even though most taps have the same parts and the concepts stay the same, they may vary slightly from tap to tap.
