Tauranga City Council invites proposals for this contract.
There are approximately 38 70 year old pine trees located close the Tautau raw water reservoir. Two trees have failed recently and the remaining trees are considered a significant risk to the reservoir, which supplies 50% of Tauranga’s potable water.
The aim of the works is to remove all of the trees in a safe manner that minimises the risk to Council’s infrastructure and the surrounding properties.
We are seeking suppliers that have the capability and capacity to meet our requirements. In particular, we are seeking proposals with detailed methodologies that demonstrate how the risks to Council infrastructure and the neighbouring properties will be appropriately managed.
Request for Proposal is available at www.tenderlink.com/tauranga and www.gets.govt.nz
Proposals close at 2pm on 17 October 2017.
