Fergusson Park

Fergusson Park hosts football and cricket and is a popular spot for walking along the harbour.

Opening hours: All year round from 5.30am to 10pm

Facilities

Type Detail
Cricket nets The nets belong to the Albion Cricket Club and all use of the nets must have their approval.
Changing rooms The changing rooms are located within the Ōtūmoetai Sports and Recreation Club building. To arrange access to the changing facilities please contact Ōtūmoetai Sports on 021 161 2685.
Floodlights To arrange access to the floodlights for your booking, please discuss this with the Parks Booking Coordinator.
Irrigation The grass cricket wicket blocks are irrigated, please discuss with the Parks Booking Coordinator for further details.
Parking The main car park can be accessed from Tilby Drive, Matua. There is additional parking on the waterfront area of the park by following the roadway from the entrance.
Toilets Clubroom toilets open 5.30am to 10pm
Toilets adjacent to boat ramp open 24 hours
Clubrooms The clubroom building on the park is managed by the Ōtūmoetai Sports & Recreation Club Inc. The Club consists of Ōtūmoetai Football Club Inc, Albion Cricket Club, Tauranga Astronomy Club,  Matua Scouts, Guiding NZ and Wind Addiction Club BOP.
