Holiday closure
Our Library Community Hubs will be closed from midday on Wednesday, 24 December 2025. They will reopen for 29, 30 and 31 December, will close again for 1, 2, 3 and 4 January, and reopen for the year on Monday, 5 January 2026.

Council service is available at all of our libraries to help you with a rates rebate application, enquiries, and payments.

Payments can be made by EFTPOS, debit and credit card (Visa and Mastercard only). Surcharge applies for Paywave and credit card (1.3%).
NZ Post Shops
You can pay your rates and water rates bills (as well as single dog registration fees) in Post Shops with bill pay – there are seven in Tauranga. Payments can be made by EFTPOS, cash or credit card (Visa and Mastercard only).
Remember to take your documentation (e.g. your rates or water rates bill) with you.
