Tauranga City Council’s Community Development Match Fund is now open for applications for its medium grants round.
Community groups can apply for 50 per cent of their project costs up to $10,000 for initiatives that foster strong, innovative and vibrant communities.
Groups must ‘match’ the funding they seek from council, which can be through cash donations, materials/supplies, volunteer labour or professional services.
Projects need to provide a public benefit, be free and open to members of the public, and be initiated, planned and implemented by members of the community.
Council’s Match Fund aims to encourage local groups to turn their ideas into exciting initiatives that greatly benefit our communities.
For more information visit www.tauranga.govt.nz/matchfund or contact michael.vujnovich@tauranga.govt.nz
Applications must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, 31 May.
