Council will be closed on the statutory holiday days. Our Contact Centre will be available 24/7 on 07 577 7000, including the statutory holidays.

The statutory holidays are:

• Friday, 19 April: Good Friday
• Monday, 22 April: Easter Monday
• Thursday, 25 April: ANZAC day

Our customer service centre, 91 Willow Street, we will be open on the days between Easter and ANZAC (Monday, 22 to Wednesday, 24 April and Friday, 26 April)

Some services like rubbish and glass recycling collection, libraries, transfer stations, pools and sports centres – will continue to be available, with some tweaks to opening hours. See details below.

• Our transfer stations will be closed on Good Friday
• Kerbside rubbish and glass collections scheduled for Good Friday will take place the next day, on Saturday 20 April
• Our customer service centre will be closed on weekends and public holidays
• Our libraries will be closed on public holidays, all libraries will be open on Saturday and closed on Easter Sunday.
• All parking is free on weekends and public holidays however time limits still apply.
• Noise control and animal control services are available 24/7 all year round on 07 577 7000
