Enjoy Easter in Tauranga

Tauranga Moana is your city for events this holiday break with the National Jazz Festival, cricket at Bay Oval, markets, community events and more.

Tauranga City Council General Manager of Community Services Gareth Wallis said the weekend ahead is one of the best line-ups of the year.

“If you’re planning an Easter staycation or having friends to visit there’s no better place to be.

“We’re hosting the 58th National Jazz Festival this year with some incredible acts playing at venues across the city including the Historic Village. The popular Downtown Carnival is one of the highlights, which offers two full days of music and dancing right on our waterfront.

“We’re also delighted to have the WHITE FERNS playing Australia at the Bay Oval as the cricket season begins to draw to a close. Or if you’re the active type, Generation Homes The Mount Swim is on at Mount Maunganui. So, whether you’re into music, sport, good food, sailing, fast cars, or just being active there’s something for you.”
