Tendering

If you are interested in working with us, or want to find out about contract opportunities, then this section is essential reading. You will also find out more information on our e-tendering portal.

Viewing tenders and proposals

Opportunities vary in scope, ranging from large-scale projects that benefit the entire region, to initiatives that benefit our fast growing City.

Our requests for tenders and proposals are advertised on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS), an e-tendering portal that speeds up the tendering cycle and reduces the time and costs for us and our suppliers.

To use the e-tender portal you can register online for free, but you will need a RealMe account to register Once registered you will receive notifications of upcoming open public tender opportunities.

We also publish tender information on the TCC website under Public Notices

Responding to tenders and proposals

If you identify an opportunity:

  • Read all the documents provided
  • Attend any pre-tender briefing sessions
  • Check anything you do not understand and seek clarification before the clarification period closes via the GETS Forum.
  • Plan and prepare your response

  • Award a contract: All tender submitters will be notified of the outcome, whether you are successful or unsuccessful. Details of the tenders awarded are published on our website

  • Manage the contract: Performance will be evaluated throughout the life of the contract to ensure value is being delivered according to the terms of the contract.

GETS Feedback Survey

We want to find out how we can improve our ways of working and engaging with suppliers. We would like to understand as a supplier, or potential supplier, to a Council tender if you have proceeded with making a submission, or not and why. Please follow the link below to provide us with feedback on the GETS Tendering process.
