Voting closes at 12pm on Tuesday, 2 May (tomorrow). This is your last chance to vote for your preferred representative on council and to have your say about the museum referendum.
“To ensure your vote counts we recommend that you drop your voting papers into council or your local library before midday tomorrow,” says Warwick Lampp, Tauranga City Council’s Electoral Officer.
You can make a special vote before the close-off date. To make a special vote you need to come into council’s customer service centre, 91 Willow St. You can make a special vote if you:
- are not enrolled in Tauranga or have changed your address since 1 April 2018;
- have not received or lost your voter pack;
- have thrown it out or destroyed it; or
- are on the unpublished electoral roll.
