This past week, Fulton Hogan received some wonderful compliments around the kindness and helpfulness of the traffic management team. Before we provide an update on the project, we would like to acknowledge the awesome traffic controllers on site and thank them for their efforts on this project.

Durham Street
The watermain on the east side of the street has been installed in readiness to connect to a new watermain to be laid across Durham Street near Elizabeth Street Intersection.
Most of the work on the footpath from the University of Waikato to Elizabeth Street has the cement treated base laid in preparation for the concrete surfacing. Before the surface concrete can be laid, we are working to resolve a few drainage problems near the University.

Spring Street and Durham Street Intersections
Concrete pavement started this week on East side of intersection with the installation of boxing in preparation to lay concrete next week.
Durham Lane
The lane from Durham Street to Bongard Centre will be closed from Friday 15 March for a week to allow the base pavement construction in Durham Street past the lane entrance. Access will be from Cameron Road adjacent to Bongard Centre.
The pavement on Durham Lane is scheduled to be excavated and replaced next week in preparation for asphalt surfacing.
Street light bases will be installed next week along Durham Lane. This is a very exciting milestone for the project.
Please contact Keith Campbell our Stakeholder Manager if you have any concerns or questions.
