Durham Street and Durham Lane are set to form part of a vibrant part of the city centre, with education at its core, following a Council decision today to proceed with an estimated $6.1m streetscape upgrade.

The upgrade of the wastewater system on Durham Street is nearing completion. 

We will be progressing our wastewater works this weekend where a section of Elizabeth Street will close from 3pm on Saturday, 8 September to 6am on Monday, 10 September.

This week we will be working to upgrade the water main and storm water systems on the corner of Spring Street and Durham Street. 

Last weekend we successfully completed our wastewater upgrade out to the Elizabeth Street roundabout, the road closure went smoothly – many thanks to all those who accommodated this.
