Durham Street
We have resolved the drainage problems on the footpath near the University of Waikato. This will allow us to continue with the construction of the path next week.
Archaeological work has delayed progress on excavating and placing the base metal on the parking bay and roadway areas towards Elizabeth Street.

There is stormwater pipe work to be installed near Elizabeth St end of Durham Street next week.
Spring Street and Durham Street Intersections
The light pole base on Davista corner is being concreted today. Delays have been created due to redesign of the base to accommodate the myriad of underground services on this corner.
You will start to see even more progress on the intersection next week as further concrete pours are planned.
Durham Lane
The excavation on Durham Street has been slower than expected due to archaeological investigations. This means that the lane from Durham Street to the Bongard Centre remains closed until the base pavement construction in Durham Street has been completed past the Lane entrance. Access will be from Cameron Road adjacent to Bongard Centre.
The Lane from the University of Waikato to Cameron Rd has been delayed while the design of the concrete nib adjacent to Craigs carpark is finalised. Work is planned to get underway again next week.
