Tauranga City Council and its council-controlled organisations (CCOs) are pleased to announce its inaugural Board Intern programme.  This programme aims to increase diversity on our CCO boards and to provide a pipeline of prospective board members.

A proposal that aims to reconcile longstanding grievances associated with land in Tauranga’s city centre, set to undergo a major transformation in the coming years, is being shared with the community for feedback.

From enjoying a dip at Baywave and soaking at the Mount Hot Pools, to admiring art and feasting at foodie events, Tauranga locals and visitors are benefitting from what the city’s Council Controlled Organisations (CCOs) have on offer.

Tauranga City Council is proposing that a formal governance structure be established to ensure the redevelopment of the civic precinct in Tauranga’s city centre provides the desired community outcomes.
