Ongoing challenges of drilling deep under the harbour have pushed out the expected completion date for the Southern Pipeline Harbour Crossing project.
A short period of 24-hour work is about to begin on Southern Pipeline harbour crossing project. Subject to specialist equipment arriving on-site, this work is likely to begin Friday, 20 July.
A major milestone for the Southern Pipeline harbour crossing project is close to being completed, with the outer steel pipe nearly installed under the harbour between Memorial Park and Matapihi.
Another milestone has been reached in the Southern Pipeline harbour crossing project, with 1.6km of steel pipe successfully being pulled the full distance under the harbour, surfacing at Matapihi at 3pm on Saturday 28 July.
