Wastewater includes everything that gets flushed down our toilets and washed down the sinks and pipes inside our kitchens, bathrooms and laundries.

Tauranga City Council operates two wastewater treatment plants to treat this water to a high standard before it is discharged into the ocean. This helps look after our environment and protect public health.
