Current water shutdowns.

From time to time it’s necessary to temporarily shut off parts of our water network to carry out annual water mains flushing, upgrades or emergency repairs.

Please note if this page is blank there are no current planned shutdowns.

All clear - Wastewater Overflow Notification - Castlewold Drive, Bethlehem

Overflow Notification

Wastewater overflow at Castlewold Drive, Bethlehem, on 31 May 2025 is now all clear.

The overflow was a result of fat.  This will have impacted Beaumaris Boulevard Stormwater ponds, Carmichael Stormwater Reserve, and the Tauranga Harbour.

Actions Completed

Water quality sample results indicate that there will be no further impact as a result of the abovementioned overflow.
