Additional security measures

We are aware that some customers are having issues making payments online. This is due to Visa and Mastercard now enforcing two-factor authentication on all payments in order to increase security.

If you are having issues making an online payment, please contact your bank.

Event traffic management

If your event is happening on a street or road you are legally required to have a traffic management plan.

All traffic management plans for events must be provided by a registered traffic management company and submitted to Council's temporary traffic management team for review.

Traffic management

If your event requires a road closure it must be publicly notified. Therefore your application must be submitted at least eight weeks prior to the event taking place.

If your event needs to reserve public carpark spaces (for event related purposes, i.e. pack-in/out), you have two options:

  1. Include the restrictions within the traffic management plan submitted to council (if the event has a traffic management plan). These restrictions are then managed by your traffic management provider, or
  2. Apply for a parking permit. Please note that reserving car parks under a parking permit is self-managed and not enforceable. If you require the ability to enforce parking restrictions, then a traffic management plan would be required (which includes the ability to tow). All information about parking permits and how to apply can be found on the Parking space permits webpage.

Contact information

We encourage you to contact our event facilitation team in the first instance to discuss the event’s feasibility and to offer advice and guidance on the next steps to take.
