The Tauranga Mayoral Relief Fund is a locally administered emergency relief fund designed to support people and organisations experiencing urgent hardship following a significant emergency event.

Following a future emergency event, the Mayor may authorise activation of the fund to provide timely support where immediate needs are not fully met through insurance, government assistance, or other available funding sources. The fund is intended to complement other forms of assistance and help address urgent gaps while longer-term recovery support is mobilised.
