Downer is the contractor to the Tauranga City Council for the maintenance of the Water, Stormwater and Wastewater systems.
From Monday 2 September 2024, for a period of 2 weeks, Downer will be undertaking the Annual Water Mains Scouring Program (flushing) in the following areas:
Pyes Pā, The Lakes Residential, The Lakes Industrial, Welcome Bay, Ohauiti, Hairini, Maungatapu.
This scouring/flushing may cause a temporary discolouration of your water. If you find any discolouration at your home/business, please run an outside tap for 5-10 minutes until the water clears.
