This is to notify you that a wastewater overflow has occurred at Third Avenue on 22 January 2026.
The overflow was a result of heavy rainfall on the 21st January 2026. This will have impacted Tauranga Harbour area between The Strand to Memorial Park.
TCC contractors have placed warning signage at prominent access points.
Water quality testing will begin when weather permits
