Mauao’s Oruahine track will be closed for around two weeks from 9 April for track maintenance.
All other tracks will remain open. Access to the summit will be available via the Waikorire track.
Signage and barriers will be in place, and security will be on-site during working hours.
On 11-12 April a helicopter will be flying overhead to deliver aggregate to the track. A loading zone will be located in a paddock on the Marine Parade side of the mountain; however, there will be no additional track closures during this time.
The Oruahine track will be closed from 9 April.
