From 1 July, the IT system we use to manage land rates is changing.
Changes include new customer numbers, new payment reference numbers and changes to direct debit payments.

You can set this up with your own bank using the details below, or use POLi, our internet banking payment option.
And why not make paying even easier by setting up a direct debit for weekly, fortnightly or monthly payments. You’ll never get a late payment penalty, and you won’t even need to update your scheduled amounts each year. We will do this automatically for you.
Setting up payments with your bank
Customers within New Zealand
You can make arrangements with your bank to pay your rates and other bills using telephone or internet banking.
For water payments, you will need to provide the valuation number from your water rates notice.
For rates, you will need to provide the rates assessment number from your rates notice and your bank will have all of the other details required.
Customers outside of New Zealand
Customers outside of New Zealand or with an overseas bank will need to provide the following details to their bank:
