Wastewater overflow notifications

Wastewater overflows pose a serious risk to public health and our environment and need to be fixed immediately.

Most wastewater blockages (and subsequent overflows) occur when people flush things down their toilets or sinks that they shouldn’t like wet wipes, fats and cooking oils. Wastewater overflows can also occur when stormwater enters the wrong pipes during heavy rain due to faulty gully traps or damaged infrastructure.

If a wastewater overflow has occurred, please notify us.

TC93/25 - Pest Animal Monitoring - ADVANCE MONITORING

This is a single step Request for Proposal process. Final interviews will be held for the highest scorers’ bids, from which our final evaluations will be made.

The existing contract will now be split into three (3) separate contracts:

  • TC514/24 – Pest Animal Control
  • TC93/25 – Pest Animal Monitoring
  • TC13/25 – Pest Animal Shooting Specialist

NOTE: We are ideally looking for separate suppliers for TC93/25 – Pest Animal Monitoring and TC514/25 – Pest Animal Control, however if you can demonstrate your impartiality between monitoring and control, we may award these two contracts to one supplier. You are also able to apply for TC13/25 – Pest Animal Shooting Specialist contract in conjunction with either of the other contracts.

TC93/25 – Pest Animal Monitoring contract

We are seeking a supplier who has the capability, capacity and experience to deliver Pest Animal Monitoring operations on TCC land. Suppliers will need to have a proven track record, be able to physically install monitoring devices in the urban environment and provide detailed analysis of the monitoring data to determine and guide the effectiveness our control operations.

The scope of the operations will include the installation and servicing of new monitoring networks, insightful reporting of outcomes and recommendations on new control operations. It is mandatory that the successful supplier will have a tertiary qualification in Ecology or Environmental Science within their Management Team and / or a minimum of 5 years industry experience; you must also have at least one person on site, while performing monitoring operations, with a NZ Cert level 1 in Pest Animal Management or 2 years equivalent industry experience.

Indicative timeframes:

  • Request for Proposal anticipated to be released at the end of June 2025
  • Project Commencement (indicative): 1st of November 2025
  • Project Completion: Each will have a 3-year contract with the possibility of 2 years extension (12 months each)
