Overflow Notification

This is to notify you that a wastewater overflow has occurred at Awaiti Place, Ohauiti on 27 August 20025.
The overflow was a result of paper/wipes/pads.  This will have impacted Waimapu Estuary.

Current Actions

Council staff and contractors have cleared the blockage, put up warning signs, and applied lime to the affected area.
Water quality sampling will be undertaken as soon as the weather permits.
