It’s nearly the end of the 2017/18 rating year. Have you applied for a rates rebate yet?

If you’re a Tauranga homeowner on low income (e.g. around $30,000 gross annual household income), you could be eligible for a rates refund of up to $620 from central government.

Be quick, you need to have your application in by 30 June.

Go to alpha.ratesrebates.services.govt.nz to find out if you’re eligible, and apply online. 

You can also use a paper application form available from Tauranga City Council’s customer service centre, or download one from our website.
