We are working on planning two new urban growth areas – new suburbs – to cater for the growth of Tauranga and the western Bay of Plenty. 

Residents are being invited to help shape the design for the proposed development at Te Tumu in Papamoa East, at two information days this week. 

The proposed development of Te Tumu, in Papamoa East, could provide new housing for more than 15,500 people – as well as new amenities including schools, cycleways and sports fields.
