To ensure everyone has fair access to Tauranga’s recreational spaces, council wants to hear how people wish to use parks, reserves and stormwater reserves in the future.
Tauranga City Council’s Projects Services and Operations Committee today received a report outlining council’s progress towards reopening Omanawa Falls to the public in a staged manner, with a design expected early next year.
The Mauao base track and Oruahine track will be closed on Tuesday, 17 November from 7am to 4pm.
Works to upgrade Kulim Park in Ōtūmoetai will get underway later this month, with several key changes to address safety issues.
Removal of a large pine tree on the embankment between Wharepai Domain and Takitumu Drive, near the Waikareao Estuary, will take place on Tuesday, 3 May 2022 from 7.30am until 5pm.
