Chief Executive quarterly State of the City report

The State of the City report is a quarterly update on specific topic areas and strategic priorities. The first report covers the period of 1 April 2017 to 30 June 2017 and was presented to the mayor and councillors at the Council meeting on 18 July.

The focus of this report was on our aspiration of becoming an internationally competitive city, to provide a higher standard of living for all.

Working towards an internationally competitive city requires a shift from focusing on council to focusing on the city.

To achieve this we need co-investment and strong relationships with central government, public agencies, business, Tangata Whenua and community partners.
