Wastewater overflow - Katerini Grove, Pāpāmoa

Event date: 28/12/2024 8:00 a.m. Export event

Overflow Notification

This is to notify you that a wastewater overflow has occurred at Katerini Grove, Pāpāmoa on 28 December 2024.

The overflow was a result of wipes. This will have impacted Wairākei Stormwater Reserve.

Current Actions

Council staff and contractors have cleared the blockage, cleaned and disinfected the area, and put up warning signs around the stormwater pond.

Water quality sampling will be undertaken as soon as the weather permits.
